Hi,

on my 98.13 GBPvr with my Haupauge Nova-T DVB here in the UK I have a file called gbepg.ts

It's created every day and it is around 150MB large ...
It's naming itself like

gbepg.ts
gbepg-1.ts
gbepg-1-2.ts
gbepg-1-2-3.ts and so on .

I have now around 10 Files ...?

I tried the Search Function but it did not return any Info.

I am not using the reload EPG Function (as adwised in the Config)

Anyone ?

It looks like your BDA mux is set to use the Transport Stream option. This isnt intended to be used by end users. Set it back to one of the other options, then delete these files - with any luck they shouldnt come back.

There are some temporary files like this created when it does the DVB EPG update, but these files are normally deleted. They didnt get deleted in this case because of the Transport Stream option being selected.

Actually mine is set to Microsoft DVR-MS and I get gbepg.dvr-ms repeatedly in my recording path.

Yeah, its a known bug. I'll try to remember to fix it in the next release.

I've got a whole bunch of gbpeg*.dvr-ms files in ver 1.0.16. I presume the bug has been fixed in this version. Do they occur now for me because I had to kill gbpvr.exe from task manager?

If you're using the dvr-ms mux, then there is a known bug in the current release that can cause these files to stay around. Its fixed for the next release. For now, just delete the files from that directory periodically.

Can you do an 'update epg' in the config app, let it complete, then zip and attach your config.exe.log?

Logs enclosed.

I normally update EPG from pvrx2 since it doesn't work from the Tray Icon for me. Is there a difference doing it from the Config app?

Can you see if the attached patch resolves the problem for you.
