Hauppauge PVR-500

i bought the PVR-500 MCE kit with the remote but it doesn't look like it came with the IR software... the IR software is what GBPVR uses right? i click the "fix hauppauge remote" button in GBPVR config but only like 2 or 3 buttons on the remote actually work... i have the remote with out the red, green, blue, and whatever buttons at the bottom. anyone know where i can get the IR software? feel free to use my e-mail contact if you like.

love the software btw.

oh, almost forgot, i'm have some video and audio synch problems on a couple channels, best place to start troubleshooting? my system is a P4 3.0, 1gig RAM, 400 gig hard drive, hauppauge 150 MCE and 500 MCE..

**edit** after a little googling i found the ir.exe and the irremote.ini i evidently need and i will attempt this again using HIP... i'll make an update post if all goes well.

well all has not gone well... i'm still having audio/video synch problems and it seems like the longer the system sits there the further out of synch the audio gets from the video. any ideas?

It most likely relates to the audio/video decoders you're using. Try using a different combination.

If you're noticing it with Live TV, make sure your have the deinterlacing set to 'encoder pass through' on the misc tab of the config app.

i'll try out some different combinations. i finally found this post and after reading through it i found a few things i wanted to try. thanks for the quick reply.
