When GB-PVR starts, it never launches recording Service ?

Also when I select a program and start recording, I have always this fault "recording Service is not started !"

The recording service starts when the machine starts. If yours isnt running, then that means its probably crashing, which is almost certainly related to this post in the sticky 'v0.98.13 survival guide' thread: http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=1...ostcount=2

Each time I reinstall the application in mode "Repair", the problem disappeared.

But when I shutdown the computer and restart it, the problem comes back again.

I try to make a batch file with the command :
net start "GB-PVR Recording Service"
The "net" command does'nt confirm the start of "Recording Service" when I put a call of this batch in the Windows "auto start menu".

If I launch this batch a few minutes later after the Windows OS starts, the "net" command confirms the start of "Recording Service" !

Also the problem is circumvented but is not solved!

Sorry, I'm not sure why you'd be getting this.

Check your event log for errors. Is the service set to start automatically?

This command is never launched at reboot :
net start "GB-PVR Recording Service"
I make a little program in VB to launch this command 5 minutes after reboot and the command is completed without error.

When I try to launch this command just after reboot without delay, it aborts without logfile (GBPVRRecordingService.exe.log).

Anti Virus Software / Firewall ?

I'd had lots of hassle with personal firewalls and anti virus software do you have any of this running ? if so I'd suggest stopping them....

I confirm that Panda Antivirus is active at restart.

But I can't understand that the command:
net start "GB-PVR Recording Service"
doesn't write an error in the log file ?

And why this command lanched 5 minutes later after reboot works without error whereas antivirus is actived.
