I think this was mentioned before, but I'm not sure it's the same problem.

I recorded a show yesterday, and watched it after it analyzed the commercials.
GBPVR displayed the "progress bar" - but even from looking at the commercial breaks (darker areas), I knew something was skewed. Right I was, and the skips didn't happen in time.
Also, I think it showed less "dark areas" than there were actually lines in the comskip file.

It looked like the times of the commercials where stretched.

This has never happened in the past, and I can't think of a major change I did. I'm running by usuall MPEG encoder (Intervideo NonCSS), and VMR9 Custom.

I think all I changed recently was change the deinterlacing to "pass through".

Any idea?

Ignoring the comskip file for now, looking at the timeline in GB-PVR does the file duration look correct? ie, does it show a half hour show as being half an hour long, or does it report some unexpected duration?

I think it was correct (I can verify again a little later). the litle mark was on the right position during play, and time I think showed 1:02:xx which was the correct length (it's a one hour slot, plus padding).

Try playing the file, then zip and attach the gbpvr.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.

here it is (renamed to .txt).
I tried few times, one failed I think due to the PC remote control program (LogMeIn), so look at the last one.

Quote:12:44:42.528 VERBOSE detected FPS as 25.000000
The logs show the file detected as 25 frames per second (PAL), which doesnt really sound right for Canada.

If you got any utilities which will confirm the framerate of the file? AVICoded will tell you http://avicodec.duby.info/
