Occasionally when a program goes to a commercial break and the screen blanks for a fraction of a second, the video freezes. The audio keeps playing, but i'm left with a black screen. Exiting to main menu and going back to the program 'unfreezes' it, but then it happens again on the screen blank between the commercial ending and the program starting again.
It seems to be confined to only a few channels (E4 in the UK most notably) and not all the time - but if it happens once in a show, then it will most likely happen again in the next break in that show.
It definately affects live TV, and I think i've seen it happen on a recorded (or maybe timeshifted) show too, although I don't have any recordings to double check this at the moment.
Any thoughts?
