Thanx, I installed VLC, but did not make any file associations when I installed it, thinking I could change the associations later, but I cannot find anywhere in the config to create the associations, and even though I pick VLC as the viewer, it still opens in WMP.

OK, do I install VLC on the GBPVR server? I set up streaming in the config of the web admin, but I don't get a streaming button!

Install the VLC on the computer/server that has the EWA setup and accept the defaults when installing VLC.
Did you read the WIKI? I installed the latest version of EWA (ASP 2.0) following the instructions in the wiki. I then installed VLC and the streaming buttons appeared. You also don't need the file associations for VLC. |
