After installing GBPVR i noticed that when i press my sleep button (which sends it into standby) doesn't actually power the computer off.. windows does go into sleep.. but everything is still powered on. Does anyone know how i can fix this problem so that when i press my sleep button my computer actually powers off like it did before??
I didn't know if there is some kind of setting somewhere or not.. any help would be much appreciated.. thanks.

are you wanting it to go to standby?

or power off?

If it's currently going to S1 standby (monitor and hdd off, fans running) and you want it to power off completely then start->control panel->power settings should give you some options.

However if it's started going into S1 standby but it used to go to S3 standby (fans off too) you need to google for dumppo.exe and have a read up.....

PS I doubt it's anything to do with GBPVR - probably just one of those weird 'puter things.....

Thanks alot for your feedback... after doing some reading, i ended up going into my bios.. i had it selected for s1 & s3 for standby.. i switched this to s3 alone.. and problem fixed... it's weird though, because it worked fine before with s1 and s3 both selected... i actually think this must have something to do with the drivers for the MCE remote that came with the hauppauge 150... anyhow.. switching it to s3 only worked.. thanks again!
