hauppauge remote

hi,

i've got the 45 button hauppauge remote. i had been using the winTV software that came with my pvr2-usb2 tuner. i did the "fix hauppauge remote" feature in the gb-pvr config, but i can't figure out how to activate gb-pvr with the remote while it is in the task bar. when i click the "go" button, it brings up the wintv menu. (i restarted the ir after fixing the remote in the config)

any help?

There is no built in function that does this. By default the remote only functions when GB-PVR is on the screen.

...that said, there are a couple of ways around this. If you do a search for something like 'start with hauppauge remote' then I'm sure you'll turn up some info on this.
