Support for Pinicle or ATI capture cards

The BTwincap drivers for this card are DirectShow compatible via WDM driver. Can we assume therefore that your SW is not DirectShow compatible in that it does not use WDM architecture?

Also, these cards use the CN8x8 Tuner Chip and therefore can be supported by Generic Conexant support, via the BTwincap WDM drivers.

GB-PVR is entirely based around DirectShow and WDM drivers, but unfortunately that is not enough. To support software encoder cards I would need to do stuff differently than it is done for supporting the hardware encoder cards (which also use WDM drivers btw). I havn't done this because I dont own a software encoder card and I'm busy enough trying to support hardware encoder devices - I'd rather not deal with the additional issues I'd have trying to support software encoder cards.
