Hi,

Does anyone know what entry should be added to bda.ini for a Leadtek WinFast DTV Dongle DIB7700 DVB-T Receiver at all please?.

I've tried the entry for Leadtek WinFast DTV Dongle however the capture device is not detected. Can confirm that device is working alright with Leadtek supplied software and that BDA drivers are installed.

[Leadtek WinFast DTV Dongle]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-T
RECEIVER_ONLY_MODE=1
FILTER_RECEIVER=WinFast Digital Capture (Dev1 Path0)
PIN_RECEIVER_IN=Antenna In Pin
PIN_RECEIVER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport

The following entries are shown in GraphEdit:

BDA Receiver Component....
WinFast Digital Capture (Dev1 Path0)

BDA Source Filters....
WinFast Digital Tuner (Dev1 Path0)

Added the following entry to bda.ini but think that the entry is incorrect as capture device isn't detected:

[Leadtek WinFast DTV DIB7700]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-T
RECEIVER_ONLY_MODE=1
FILTER_RECEIVER=WinFast Digital Capture (Dev1 Path0)
PIN_RECEIVER_IN=Antenna In Pin
PIN_RECEIVER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport

Thank you.

Run the filtercheck utility, and zip and attach the filtercheck.log it produces and I'll take a look: http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=1...ostcount=6

I think it'll be:

[WinFast DTV DIB7700]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-T
FILTER_TUNER=WinFast Digital Tuner (Dev1 Path0)
FILTER_CAPTURE=WinFast Digital Capture (Dev1 Path0)
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2 Transport

Let me know if that works and I'll add it to the master file.

Hi Sub,

Thank you for your reply. Tried that entry a few hours before reading your reply and unfortunately it doesn't work. Error message reads.... GB-PVR was unable to start the BDA device you have configured. Check the device is configured properly, and not already in use.

Can confirm that WinFast software is not running.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

With that setting in bda.ini applied, try doing a 'map digital channels to epg channels' in the config app, then zip and attach the logs for me to take a look.

Its failing to fine the filter called 'WinFast Digital Tuner (Dev1 Path0)' but we know this is the correct name since its listed in the filtercheck.log. We've seen one other device in the past that had a space at the end of the name, and I wonder if this could be a similar problem. It might opening regedit and doing a search for 'WinFast Digital Tuner' and take a close look at the string thats found to see if there is any trailing spaces or other things funny.

Hi Sub, Thank you for your reply. Gone into regedit and done a search for WinFast Digital Tuner (found nothing). Narrowed search down to WinFast and found some registry entries but to be honest I'm unsure what I'm trying to find. Could you give me some more idea of what information you need to edit the bda.ini accordingly?.

Thank you.

odd, I was pretty sure you'd find it listed there.

Basically we just need to make sure we've got the exact names listed in bda.ini. At the moment I'm sure we've got something just slightly off.
