"PVRX2.exe Entry point Not Found"

I'v tried to set up a testrig running gbpvr on Win7/x86 (the x64 version is incompatible with too much of my other SW), and encounter the above mantioned error message when trying to start PVRX2. In addition it says " The procedure entry point _ftol2 could not be located in the dynamic link library msvcrt.dll". The recording service is started and I can run Config.exe without problems, all the expected channels is there too.

Any ideas anyone?

Try uninstalling and reinstalling the VC++ redist package maybe?

That was my first idea too, but unfortunatly it didn't help... :o

Well, in desperation I uninstalled gbpvr and removed all traces of it and did a new install, the problem did not show up this time, I can start PVRX2 and play recordings, but Acamd does not seem to attempt to connect to NewCS, even turning off the firewall makes no difference. I can access NewCS from other computers in my network so I know it works.

BTW: What was this thing about "virtual storage" (or whatever) on Win7? And should I turn it off? How?

Have you registered mdapifilter.ax (you could use the one from the acamd package BTW) and selected Multidec (MDAPI) as common interface for the specific capture source?

Thanks a lot! I had the wrong mdapi version, now it works like a deram.
