Alternate audio source

Hi everyone,

I've been using GB-PVR for a while now and i've been very happy with it. However a friend of mine asked me if i could record some stuff for him from a camcorder he had, for backup purposes. I can capture video from the camcorder, but there is no sound . Which leads me to my question:
Is it possible in GB-PVR to set an alternative audio/sound source for encoding the video?

P.S. I use a Hauppauge WinTV PVR 150

No it isnt. When recording via the svideo/composite connector on your PVR150, it needs to use the audio connectors on the PVR150 also.

Unfortunately i've tried your suggestion and that didnt work. Not sure if i did anything wrong though. Any comments?

PVR150s a reknowned for having audio problems. If you're not already, it might be worth upgrading to the most recent drivers.

Alternatively use the Hauppauge WinTV software for doing these camcorder recordings.
