Hello,

Just seeking some help as I have 2 x Nova-T PCI cards set up in my server, when I change channel on my client the channel changing seems to take ages at least 10 secs...

Is there any settings that can be set to make it quicker. My setup below:

Client
****
AMD Turion MT-37 2ghz
1GB DDR RAM
20GB HDD
Windows XP Pro
Multiplexer = Cyberlink Muxer
Mpeg Decorder = Nvidia PureDigital
Mode = Timeshift

Server
*****
AMD Athlon XP 3200+ Barton
1GB DDR
2x 160GB SATA HDD
2x Nova-t PCI
Windows Server 2003 R2
Multiplexer = Cyberlink Muxer
Mpeg Decorder = Nvidia PureDigital
Multiplexer = Cyberlink Muxer
Mpeg Decorder = Nvidia PureDigital

Any help will be much appreciated

Thanks

Sub refers to the general delay that you get with the cyberlink mux here

I can only imagine it taking longer in a client /server setup. How are they networked?

Thanks for this, I'll change the muxer to ATI if possible.

Will this be speeded up in the near future?

Well any delays caused by the mux are out of Subs hands.

I have the ATI mux as it came with the ATI AVIVO encoder that I downloaded a while back. I tested it out this morning as I was curious to see if made any difference to image quality, time stamps etc. I didn't test channel changing and the pc is busy recording a series of shows for the rest of the day.

BTW: the config.exe lists mux's that gbpvr recogises, not which are registered on your pc. use muxchecker.exe to list your registered mux's.
