Setting up Twinhan 102g with new release

Hi All,

I am trying to configure twinhan dvb-s capture source in gbpvr and not getting any channels during the scan. Trying to scan echostar 3 (61.5) NA satellite. I am using the latest bda drivers and got it working fine in MyTheatre. Below are my settings:

1) Recording source: BDA Recording Plugin
--> Device Type: Twinhan DVB-S
--> LNBF LOF1: 11300
--> LNBF Switch: 11300
--> LNBF LOF2: 11300

I also tried with below setting with no luck:
--> LNBF LOF1: 10600
--> LNBF Switch: 10714
--> LNBF LOF2: 9750


2) EPG Source: DVB EPG or Zap2it


Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Since you have it working in MyTheatre, its probably worth checking the LNB settings there.

Can you try doing the scan again, then zip and attach the config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log and I'll take look.

Here are the log files : logs.rar

I used following LOF settings of MyTheatre:

--> LNBF LOF1: 9750
--> LNBF Switch: 11700
--> LNBF LOF2: 11250

I'm not really sure.

To give me a bit more info you could try following:

1) temporarily create the following registry setting
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\LogPSIProcessing=2 (DWORD)
2) do the scan again
3) zip and attach the resulting c:\psi.log file.

Will do that. Also while scanning I c that Strength and Quality is 0. Is that normal?

Maybe. Some cards dont report their signal info via the standard mechanism.

why do you use different lnb settings in gbpvr and in mytheatre ?

sounds normal:
--> LNBF LOF1: 9750
--> LNBF Switch: 11700
--> LNBF LOF2: 11250

only lof2 is (at least in germany) usual 10600

I added the registry entry but it did not create psi.log file. I tried it many times but nothing on c drive. Will keep trying different things. Thanks again for spending so much time on this issue and being patient.
