I just upgraded from 98.13 to 99.5. While investigating what turned out to be a decoder issue I selected System -> Settings, and got an error:

Quote:Error: Could not load type "GBPVR.Public.SettingBool' from assembly
'GBPVRPublic, Version 1.0.2543.9760, Culture=neutral,
PublicKeyToken=null'.

This is reproducible, though everything else I normally use seems to work fine. I can't say this error is new to 99.5, since I can't remember the last time I tried System -> Settings.

Any ideas? I've attached the contents of my logs directory.

Thanks.

I see you have my recordings2 plugin, can you try removing that and try again...that could be causing the problem

hmm, although I've just done it here and recordings2 shows up in the settings and it doesn't crash...

I would recommend removing each plugin until it sorts itself out since it's probably one of them.

Yeah, as psycik says, it'll be one of the plugins. I think an old version of the weather plugin did this.

Thanks for the pointer. Recordings2 (at least the version I had installed) was the problem. I had installed it early on, but since then I haven't used it much, so I'll just leave it uninstalled.

Hmm, strange, mine shows up in 99.5 settings and doesn't cause a problem...but as you say you were not using it.
