PLEASE HELP NEWB LIVETV saying NO SIGNAL

Hi people please i hope u can help before i put my head through my screen. I have got pinnacle dual tv card added it to the .ini ok set it up found the chnanels etc using nivida codec.

My problem being when i try to watch tv it says there is no signal but i know its working because i have the media centre from pinnacle and it works on that ok.

Has anyone any idea why it is doing this ???

i noticed that in the config if i change it to VRB9 all i get is a blank screen. please help

reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

With winzip or one of the numerous other utilities out there that create zip files.

ok i have zipped them up. I hope you can help i have read up alot and cant understand why its not working . in the playback options if i select VMR9 just a blank screen comes up. if VMR9 custom reneder is selected then i get the above image

Sorry, I dont know. It just looks like the device is failing to lock on to a signal for some reason.

No, I'm just saying I cant see any obvious cause in the logs. The logs look ok to me.

Has anyone any idea i have tried everything Iam almost there!! i have tried other PVr software just isnt as good and having problems with those to. I dont understand this because it seems to capture channels ok and i can see them it just wont play them in the PVR ??????/??

It might be worthwhile checking the actual frequency that station is supposed to be transmitting on vs what is being picked up on a channel scan. There should be a government website that details this for your area.

I recall having some problems like this after manufacturer changed the frequency offsets in a later driver for my my dvb-t card. In my case the card wasn't recognising 125kHz offsets properly.
