LiveTV not working properly

Hi,

I started my thread here. But as it apparently has nothing to do with MVP, I'm moving the thread to this forum.

LiveTV is suddenly working... (partially). I've discovered that playing LiveTV on GBPVR after a cold boot gives static on PC en PCH. But when I opened Windows Media Center to test the TV signal, which worked, afterwards LiveTV on GB-PVR worked on PC and PCH (inferior quality though :-(), but only on the last channel I used in Media Center. Other channels didn't work.

Is this a driver issue?

Can't anyone help Heezy with this PVR 500 problem?

I don't have a pvr500 - but one possible diagnostic would be to reduce down to a single source in config and then the same settings would be used for recordings as well as live TV.
If live TV then works, adding the second source, with maybe only one or two channels would be my debugging step.

No that didn't help either. Cannot really make any sense of it. What does Media Center have to do with it?

After some more testing, I found out that MCE wasn't always fluently playing LiveTV either.
Then I found this:

Now MCE plays LiveTV perfectly on one channel. But when I record one channel and I want to watch another channel, it doesn't always play (but it has before).

Anybody has a clue in which direction I should be looking. Because GB-PVR is still doing the same; stuttery play of the last channel in MCE.

Can you reproduce the problem on the PC (not PCH) and post the pvrx2.exe.log and pvrx2.exe-native.log file?

It looks like you've tried tried to enter frequencyes instead of channel numbers, but the numbers are too small, so the tuner is going to ignore the request - resulting in it staying tuned to the previously tuned channel.

sub means your configuration in config.exe where the channel/frequency goes - as in the first image here http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Confi...elMappings
