(I knew I shouldn't have treated myself for Christmas Rolleyes )

Just installed a Nova-t-500 in addition to the old pvr-150.
Added the device in config and went ok.
Used the same xmltv from Radio Times went ok.
Mapped a few channels for a test and went ok.
Went back in after testing that it was recording ok to map the rest of the channels and got an error as shown when I pressed the "map digital....." button.
Sometimes config freezes and needs killing off when I click OK on the error box, but sometimes exits properly.
I made sure gbpvr, mvp and client were not running at the time.

screen dump and config.exe.log attached.

zip and attach the config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.

Config.exe.log was attached.
I may have to wait an hour or two to rerun the config as I'd get shot if I inadvertently killed off the recording job at the moment.
I'll do it soonest.

Thanks the quick response.

Yes, I saw that - but need the config.exe-native.log that went with it.

You could check if deleting the .cache file out of the GB-PVR "BDA" directory helps.

OK both logs should be attached. It's a bugger when the WAF gets so high that you can't reboot or close services to get a copy of the logs!.

Your second suggestion of clearing the cache solved the problem and let me go in and add a few more channels. I didn't include logs of the successful run, just of the failing one.

I guess clearing the cache would prevent cumulative additions of 'part time' channels though ??

Thanks again,
Martin

No, channels that have already mapped come from the database rather than that .cache file.

I dont really know. I cant see any obvious cause in the logs.

OK thanks - it's not as if it's something that get used regularly, so shouldn't be a problem.
