ATI HDTV Wonder Manual Channel Mapping

It appears from reading through the forum that manual mapping of digital channels to EPG channels is required for the ATI HDTV Wonder card. My experience is that the automatic scan in v0.99.5 did not work. Is there a detailed explanation of how to do manual channel mapping? I downloaded TSReader Lite and can see the channel information it captures but it is unclear how to translate that into the strings like "T:52,2,1~P:3~V:49~A:52~PMT:48~N:>2.1".

There is no detailed explaination that I know of.

T:52,1,1 where 52 is the physical channel, the two numbers can be anything (,1,1 is probably good)
P:3 where 3 is the service id (aka program number)
V:49 where 49 is the video PID
A:52 where 52 is the audio PID
PMT:48 where 48 is the PMT PID
N:>Fox where Fox is the channel name
