Character length

Just a small thing that's bugging me for some time, Am I correct that the character length on the main screen is limited to 17 characters ?
I'm using my own language.xml file and in some cases the translated text is being cut off.

For instance:

<translate originalText="Recording Soon:" translatedText="Binnenkort Opnemen:"/> will drop the last n (of "Opnemen")

Any solution ?

There is no limit relating to number of characters, but you may find that the skin you're using does define a big enough box to display your translated text. You can of couse edit the skin to correct this.

You will find that in the \Panels sub folder of the skin. Edit the NextRecording.xml

thanx guys ! changing some values as Fatman_do suggested did the trick.
Can this be a default value sub ? Just a thought.
