I have searched around but haven't come up with anything. I have rebuilt about 3 times, every time a newer version is released I would format and reinstall everything hoping the issue would get worked out, but no success yet, so I figured I'd finally post.

What is happening is randomly during navigation (it seems to be most previlant when I start a show then imediately stop it) GBPVR will crash on me and I will have to restart it. No windows error report, GBPVR just stops, and I have to doubble click the icon to restart it.

I looked at the lg file but I being barely a novice can't really make much sence of it. Basicly what I'm seeing is:

(start of where error occurs)

1/5/2007 6:40:08 PM.015 ERROR [1] System.AccessViolationException: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt.

at System.Windows.Forms.Application.ThreadContext.RunMessageLoopInner(Int32 reason, ApplicationContext context)
at System.Windows.Forms.Application.ThreadContext.RunMessageLoop(Int32 reason, ApplicationContext context)

at GBPVR.xbb1566157f5f8b1f.xfb409e85bd292293(String[] xf18a926310372520)

Does anyone have any sugestions for me? Like I said.. Brand new fresh install of latest GBPVR, Latest ATI Omega Drivers for video card, Latest Haupauge drivers for my 150 cards.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! You guys rock

looking closer it may not be the exact error message, but still may be worthwhile to look into.

I've received that error twice lately. Each time I was watching my MVP and received a message on screen that no tuners were available even though none were being used.

There is no real clues in that message indicating what caused it. Given the type of message, it doesnt look like its generated by the .net layer, so likely to be one of the native compones (video card, video decoders, GDI+ etc).

I dont really have any advice other than trying to spot a pattern so we can analyse further.

Hey, Richnj221 has one of the same issues I have. We just finished watching Live TV tonite and I attemted to bring up the live guide. It crashed to the desktop with no visual error, just like I had closed the app. This is the 3rd time this week, so I am picking up a pattern atleast in my config. The error is exactly the same as what Richnj221 posted in msg #1.

The behavior prior was me checking to see if a video in the recordings section was something we had already watched and if it could be deleted. I played the movie for maybe 2 or 3 seconds, determined i had already watched it, and stopped it. Deleted the movie, then fired up live tv. Attempted to bring up the guide and it crashed.

Last night I hit the guide button while in Live TV also about 1 minute after a recording had started when it closed GBPVR. The night before that my wife said she did the same thing and it crashed.

Do you get a message in the Windows Event Viewer when this happens?

Did you apply the USB-UIRT change I posted in your other thread?

I applied the USB-UIRT change you posted and have been busy watching TV moving around within GBPVR in hopes it would crash. It finally did at 11:26pm. I hit back to go from Live TV to the main menu.

No events written to any of the Windows Event logs. I immediately zipped up the GBPVR logs, I'll post them in this thread and link to them in that other thread as well.
