So, I may be purchasing a new HDTV tonight.
A Westinghouse 37" LCD.
This tv was on sale about a month ago for $999 but they were sold out at the time. I got a raincheck (with $50 off the sale price, i love the in-stock guarantee Big Grin) and they called me yesterday saying they had more in and were saving one for me for 5 days.

Does anyone have one of these sets? How are they? I have read many reviews on them and most people are generally happy with them, but i was wondering if anyone here has had any personal experience..

Waiting to hear Big Grin

My dad bought a Westinghouse 30" HD model, which he is using as a PC Monitor in addition to a tv with a DirecTV (not HD) feed. The quality seems great for the price, even with a standard digital feed. Can't comment on the HD quality. Hope this helps!

Well, I went and bought the T.V. last night. So far it's looking really nice in my living room. Now just to upgrade all my components and cables so I can start to really use the HD functionality of this T.V. Can't wait for HD Hockey playoffs!
