Hauppage ir blaster problems

I have the PVR-150 with the 45 button remote. Can't get the ir blaster to work with GBPVR: channels numbers change on-screen in Live TV, but no signal is sent through the blaster, so the picture stays on the original channel. Ir-blaster works fine with WinTV-2000.

I've tried setting GBPVR's config to set to "no channel changer" and to ".exe channel changer plugin" (ir32.exe) on the Capture Source tab. On the Misc tab I have checked use direct access to the Hauppauge remote.

I never succeeded in getting the config menu to configure my irremote.ini file, and so ended up manually entering settings for GBPVR.

What am I missing?

You need to use the .exe channel changer, and point it at c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\haupblast.exe

Prior to this you need to have configured the Huappauge BlastCfg app for the right type of set top box.

Uncheck that setting. Its only for PVR250 & PVR350 devices.

You need to use the 'exe changer plugin' and point it to C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\HaupBlast.exe or whereever you have installed it.
Haupblast is gbpvrs tool to call the Hauppauge software. So you have to use blastcfg to setup the blaster drivers - but looks like you've done that bit already if wintv is working. I think ir32.exe is the receive bit for the hand remote.

sorry if this has been addressed before but i cannot find a reference to my issue. pvr-150, gb-pvr set to haupblast.exe...i see the channel show on set-top box and the channel does change, but to static. only channel that works is channel 3 that the cable comes in on. even my orig. comcast remote won't work while gb-pvr is on. win-tv works fine - but i really want to use gb-pvr!

You needed to set your capture source to use the 'fixed channel, external tuner' input and set the constant channel to '3'. In config app, edit your capture source -> recording source settings.
