First of all, thanks for a great piece of software.

Would it be possible to allow the user to zoom/crop the image from the capture device? My PVR350 gives me a white line on either side on my image that's very distracting (I don't think it's the card - I suspect it's a problem with the signal from my cable box). Both Got TV and ShowShifter allow me to crop the output so that these lines don't show.

Are you talking about at capture time or playback? Either way, I dont think the hardware supports any cropping, but I'll have another look when I get the time.

During playback... If you have the "Got TV" package, what I'm hoping for is something like the "zoom controls" (Alt+Z during playback). I've set my "crop" to +3,+3, and Got TV remembers the setting between invocations.

I currently use GB-PVR for recording, and Got TV for playback of these recordings / live TV (even though I prefer GB-PVRs interface for live TV). [Image: smile.gif]

I'm really impressed with the software thus far... my XMLTV files imported without a problem, and it was very easy to set up my USB-UIRT to change the channels on my cable box (and I didn't even have to fiddle with Girder).

Hi again rali,

GB-PVR will eventually have aspect ratios and zooming, but unfortunately it may only be available with software renders VMR/Overlay (same as Got TV). Unfortunately the PVR 350 only allows me to shrink the picture, but not zoom in. It seems to be a limitation of the hardware.

Usually the very edges of the picture arn't visible because of the overscan nature of television.

Thanks for the reply.

I'm currently working around the problem by adjusting my video card settings - I can't see the Windows taskbar any more, but I can live with that for now . [Image: cool.gif]

I probably should put this in a separate post in the Support forum, but are FF and REW supposed to work when watching live TV? Pause works fine, but I can't get FF and REW to work (either from my PVR350's bundled remote, or using the keyboard shortcuts).

The mini guide that comes up while watching live TV is a really nice touch, BTW.

No, unfortunately FF/RW are working in live TV mode yet. It is a high priority for me, but I've not had time to implement it yet.
