Hi

i wanted to bring this to front. the only error line in the log I can see is
"18:49:00.625 ERROR pTuner->get_TuneRequest() failed"
but in the gbpvr recordings-screen the recording gets the line "failed". can anybody see why its marked as "failed" and is there anything I can do ?

thnx

Can you zip and attach a GBPVRRecordingService.exe.log that covers the time one of these recordings showed as failed?

This is normal on the first tuning of a DVB card (since there were was no previous tuning request to "get") and can safely be ignored.

The above (in the first post, not zipped) sequence from GBPVRRecordingService.exe.log covers the entire timespan at one of these recordings showed as failed.

I dont know why it is marked as failed and why other recordings only from this season often marked as failed (I said round about 40%)...

Recordings usually are fine, maybe one out of 50 that fail, even from the same channel.

That log was GBPVRRecordingService.exe-native.log not the GBPVRRecordingService.exe.log.

sorry, my mistake.
but the GBPVRRecordingService.exe.log seems to be empty at the given time ((2007-01-22 6:50pm). I just set the log level to debug and wait a little bit

Yeah, there is nothing there for me to go on. Post the logs again next time it happens.

1 day later Smile

it happend again, logs included. i have a round 300kb file at my harddisk that I can watch complete with wmp - but the recording is marked as "failed" from within gbpvr.

it starts 2007-1-24 6:50pm and ends at 7:00pm.

any hint would be nice.

thnx

I'm not really sure. It looks like it successfully completed the recording, and managed to save it with this new state.

You were manually doing an EPG update about the same time?
