Sometimes channels have multiple audio streams available. Assuming you've mapped to the AC3 one, then it should be recording AC3 audio.

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the log and I'll take a look.

Common ones are AC3Filter, ffdshow, and some versions of cyberlink and nvidia audio decoders.

Aha. That explains why the SVT1/2 channels show up twice in the "map digital channels"? I always wondered. I guess there's no way of knowing which has the AC3 stream without trying?

as far as i remember, in "map digital channels" i had the duplicate channels with different names (i.e. some had ac3 in the channel name)

bonhomme26, did you check that allready? if you did not understand it, post that, there are some guys here speaking french Wink

thank you

damn, i understand what your're writing but that doesn't help you any further Sad
i'm pretty sure your problem can be fixed with the correct data in "map digital channels". where are the francophiles? can someone translate that with the different channels to be found under "map digital channels"?
