Hello,

I had to "rescue" my winxp install for reasons unrelated to gbpvr, and now every time I start gbpvr (config or main app), it starts the install process. I've rebooted a number of times and have upgraded to the most recent version (v0.99.5).

Is there a way I can clean this thing up so it won't keep running the install process?

Thanks

Have a look in the Windows Event Viewer, it'll usually say why the Windows Installer automatically ran.

It's been my experience that this is usually caused when GBPVR app or the config app is looking to find a certain file(s) but fails, so it attempts to do an install again.

Which file(s) I have no clue.

I looked in the event log and it was complaining that it couldn't find D:\. I added a new HD and the drives remapped on me. So, I changed the config to point to F:\ (new 250gb drive) and had to go through the registry and find other pointers to D:\. After cleaning the registry, everything worked great.

Thanks!
