Geez, I just took some old lamp cord, stripped of the insulation & wrapped one wire around the RCA terminal & balled up the other & stuck it in the hole.
Then used duct tape to hold it all in place.
Sounds fine to me.
Anyways, when it comes to throwing SD to an HDTV what is the general rule for hardware?
Are the system requirments basically the same between true HD & upscaling SD with say FFDSHOW?
Or can I get by with a cheap p4 based celeron or a duron in the 1.6 ghz range?
I currently see 2 options.
buy a decent CPU & graphics card & let the PC do the scaling or use what I have available, a 1 ghz cpu & a radeon 7000 with S-video & let the TV do the work.
I suspect the former will be the better as i've played with FFDSHOW's scaling option with my LCD monitor & the results were shockingly good to my eyes.
