I posted this problem on the HDHomeRun boards. Whurlston tried to help but thought maybe SUB could take a look. I have a HDHomeRun and have no problem viewing live tv in gbpvr. Im assuming that means all the channels are mapped correctly. When I try to record, I get a file that is 0kb large. Found a thread a while back that pointed to multiplexer issues, but I installed and tried multiple ones (cyberlink, ati, intervideo). I posted the logs of when i tried to do a quick record of the nightly news. I have the same problem on 3 seperate computers so I think I have something set up wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can you set it to use the Microsoft DVR-MS mux, then do a recording, then zip and attach the logs?

All I can suggest is checking that the audio/video pids (179/178) and the physical channel (34) are correct. There is a known problem with the HDHomeRun drivers that can cause it to find duplicate channels on the incorrect physical channel during the channel scan procedure.

How do I determine what they should be? I was using the gbpvr scan and then previewing the channel to map the digital channel to the epg. Is there another way to do this?

I figured out the recording issue I had. Needed to add GBPVRRecordingService.exe to the list of exceptions in my windows xp firewall. Thanks for all the help Sub.
