Hmm seems i cant get this thing to work with GB-PVR, i really dont like the Pinnacle software and have seen GB-PVR on a friends computer and its much better....but i cant get it to work, ive searched for 4 hours on this site, trying all different keywords and phrases, and all i come across is dead threads with next to no information in them.

Iam hoping that by now, someone out there, will know how to get this to work with each other

Please please try and help me get this working

Assuming its got BDA drivers then it should work.

If you create a capture source, select the 'bda recording plugin', then click 'settings', then tick the 'only show devices detected in this machine' checkbox - does it find any devices? If not, then we might need to add a new definition to bda.ini for it. There is a page on the wiki that describes this, but I can help you through it if need be.

Can you run the FilterCheck utility, then zip and attach the resulting filtercheck.log? http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=1...ostcount=6

Did you edit that file? Strangely the two lines I need seem to be missing:

Alternatively, you might have to download and run GraphEdit (http://www.devnz.com/downloads/graphedit.zip), then select the 'insert filters' menu option, then expand the 'BDA Receiver Components' and 'BDA Source Components' categories to try to find the two names that are missing from above.

Try adding this to the bda.ini:

[Pinnacle 60e]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-T
FILTER_TUNER=Pinnacle PCTV 60e Tuner
FILTER_CAPTURE=Pinnacle PCTV 60e Capture
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=Input0
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=Output1

Let me know how you get on.

ok, ive added this line, ive gone to the capture sources tab, done the relevant setup for the UK the EPG and so forth....ive got a list of channels, clicked map digital channels, it has found some but not all, yet the pinnacle software picks them up..

also some have (#2) #2, is this normal? and any tips to make it find the channels its missing.
