Its looking for a driver called 'Silicondust HDHomeRun Tuner 10108D2B-0' but not finding it on your machine. Is that serial number or MAC address or whatever it is correct?

It's the Device ID per these Instructions on the Siliconduct Forum

1. Install the latest HDHomeRun software and firmware

2. Add the following lines to your bda.ini in your GB-PVR directory. (the default is “C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr”):
Code:

[Silicondust HDHomeRun Tuner XXXXXXXX-0]
TUNING_TYPE=ATSC
RECEIVER_ONLY_MODE=1
FILTER_RECEIVER=Silicondust HDHomeRun Tuner XXXXXXXX-0
PIN_RECEIVER_IN=Input0
PIN_RECEIVER_OUT=Output1

[Silicondust HDHomeRun Tuner XXXXXXXX-1]
TUNING_TYPE=ATSC
RECEIVER_ONLY_MODE=1
FILTER_RECEIVER=Silicondust HDHomeRun Tuner XXXXXXXX-1
PIN_RECEIVER_IN=Input0
PIN_RECEIVER_OUT=Output1

Replace "XXXXXXXX" with the 8-digit device ID from the back of the HDHomeRun.

Hint: Insert this entry at the top just below “[SETUP-Main]” so that it will be the first BDA source listed.

If you previously added a "HDHomeRun uBDA" entry then this can be removed.

3. Start the GB-PVR Config and click the "Capture Sources" tab.

4. Add a Capture Source.

5. Select "BDA Recording Source" and click the “Settings” button for the recording source.

6. Select “Silicondust HDHomeRun uBDA Tuner” from the Device Type dropdown list and click the “OK” button.

7. Select and configure the EPG of your choice.

8. Click the “Update EPG” button.

9. Click the “OK” button on the message box that pops up asking you to save the capture source.

10. Once the EPG is updated click the “Map digital channels to EPG channels” button.

11. Once the scan is complete, click the “Tuning Request” column for each channel you wish to map and select the appropriate scan result from the dropdown list. Disable any channels in the EPG that do not have a corresponding “Tuning Request”.

Hint: You can click on an entry below the preview window to watch that channel to help you identify it.

12. When all channels are mapped, click the “OK” button.

13. Click “OK” to exit the Recording Source Configuration and again to exit GB-PVR Config.

14. Start GB-PVR.

I'm guessing you've either got the Device ID incorrect, or the drivers arnt correctly installed.

If you run FilterCheck, then zip and attach the resulting FilterCheck.log, then I should be able tell you more details: http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=1...ostcount=6

I think your problem is the device numbers. Both your capture sources for the HDHomeRun should be set to device #1, since the author of the drivers chose to rename the drivers for each instance rather than having multiple instances with the same name.

Thank You! That worked like a charm.

Just did a couple recordings and I only get two files of about
5.50kb.Any idea what may cause that?

Thanks

There was a bug in the HDHomeRun driver bug that could lead to the incorrect audio/video PIDs and physical channel being picked up during the channel scan, which could account for this. I seem to remember their was some discussion about working around this on the HDHomeRun forums.

I thought that issue was fixed (it hasn't done it to me lately), but it's possible that you are still experiencing it stemark. Once you do the channel scan in GB-PVR and map the channels, check your tuning string and make sure the first number after the "T:" is the proper physical channel number.

The A/V pids should be correct, just the physical channel number should be wrong.

Thanks I checked and didn't see anything.

It's odd when I schedule a recording in TV Guide it doesn't
lite up (red) but shows up in recordings.Is this a separate
issue?
