Web Access Problem

I have web access configured and ports forwarded appropriately through my router. When I access the web application from an external IP I am presented with the login form but it will not accept my login/password. As an experiment, I added the External IP to the "Automatic Logon Range" and the basic web interface worked perfectly (TV Guide, Recordings, etc.) Clicking on the "Config" tab brought up the logon page (like always) but it again won't accept my login/password. When I connect from my LAN everything works properly including the login/password page.

This used to work pre V.98. Any ideas?

You probably have your username or password entered incorrectly in the GB-PVR Config App. They are CasE SenSiTiVE. It almost sounds like you didn't reconfigure the password when you upgraded.

Does your username and password work when you click the Config tab while on your LAN?

Yes, the username and password work fine over LAN, it's only from an External IP that it refuses to authenticate.

Are there any messages in the web server log. Go into Stats tab and click on the log link and see......
