Forget the title please, I had it set to Microsoft DVR-MS in the config and it was only recording 30 seconds worth. I've now changed it to Cyberlink and it seems to be working.

However my new question is:

What is the best BDA multiplexer if I was high quality recordings?

The choices I see in GB-PVR are:
CyberLink
ATI MPEG Mux
InterVideo
SS
TS MUX

Also what is MultiDec plugin Support?

Thanks for your help

Regardless of which mux you use, all recordings will have exactly the same video and audio data, so from this prespective, the quality is the same'.

That said, some muxes generate better timing info which results in smoother playback. With standard definition DVB, the DVR-MS, ATI and Cyberlink muxes all do a pretty good job. With high definition ATSC, the DVR-MS does the best job.

Everyone sees these same options. You'd have to run the MuxChecker app to see if you've actually got any of these installed.

Multidec plugins are common type of plugin used by lots of DVB applications, allow for things like softcam support. ie, watching encrypted channels etc.
