In guide- enter channel number to jump to that channel in the listing but not actually watch the channel

Switching between tuners while watching live tv, e.g. I have 2 tuners, I set Tuner 1 to channel 3 and Tuner 2 to channel 5, should be able to Swap tuners to give affect of jumping between channel 3 and 5. Motorola DVR has this.

Option to choose what More button on MCE remote does. When watching live tv, it displays main menu but displays tv in data window. I'd rather have it
display show info, e.g. same as Guide button then OK button to select channel being watched. Same for recordings, should display show info.

Shouldn’t be able to go back in time while in guide, e.g. if it's 11pm, shouldn't display times prior to 11pm.

When in time shift mode, how to skip directly to live tv?

When watching a recording, left and right arrows change volume; what is
green bar at top of screen?
NPVR 4.1.0.180302 o Kodi 17.6 o EventGhost 0.5.0.rc4 o SAF 6.3.2 o SchedulesDirect

First, I suppose this kind of post place is in the Wishlist forum.

I thouhgt this worked.

I actually disagree. Sometimes you want to be able to see what was the show that was playing few minutes ago. I wouldn't be so harsh. What's so bad about showing history?
* Rogers Analog Cable [Canada]
* Hauppauge WintTV PVR USB2
* IBM Thinkpad T42 / 1GB Mem / Centrino 1.6Ghz / 60GB HD / ATI Mobility Radeon 7500 + VGA/DVI out
* MCE Remote + Keyboard
* Win XP SP2 / GBPVR [Latest version. always]
* Pioneer HDTV via VGA (1360x768)
* MS Remote Keyboard
* Logitech Harmony 880 [via MS Remote Control Reciever]

It already does this. Type the number and press enter.

Sorry, I wont be doing this.

This is by design. It allows you to go back 24 hours. I like to be able to check what a show was called a few hours ago.

i/More button is the 'Home' key in GB-PVR, which is very important part of the concept, and always goes to the main menu. It doesnt really fit in with your suggestion since its not used this way anywhere else in the app.

This same button isnt labelled 'more' on many of the remotes. Its often labelled 'menu', which is why ended up this way.

Some remotes have a key which sends Ctrl-O, which is the 'catch-up' key. Alternatively depending how you've got things configured, changing channels should catch up with live.

It shows the current volume level.
