DVD from Mapped drive = No Picture

I've set up GB-PVR (it's excellent!) on 2 computers; 1 holds a number of DVD's which I've ripped to the hard drive. I mapped a drive on computer 2 to the folder containing the DVD files on computer 1, and set this as the video directory. When I try and play a DVD across the network on computer 2 I get the sound but no picture, and I'm left (on computer 2) with the video menu screen and the filename of the DVD I'm trying to play.

Any ideas why this is, and what I need to do to play DVD's from gard drive across the network?

Do you know computer 2 can play DVDs? ie, have you played one locally?

Duh! :o Errr.... no it won't - I forgot to install the DVD software on it :o
