HELP!!!!

I was playing around with cyberlink muxes and now I have lost all video on playpack and live TV. So I hear the sound, but still see the GBPVR menu.

When I render a file using graphedit it confirms that the video stream is going nowhere.

I tried a system restore to get back to where I was, while the restore worked, the problem remains.

I was using an Intervideo decoder and I think is is still registered (there are some intervideo thing appear in directshow filter manager.

The only thing I can think of doing is reinstalling Intervideo WinDVD but any other advice would be apreciated.

Windows mediaplay is also showing the same symptom. Audio only if that helps?

I'm not really sure. Given its affecting GB-PVR, WMP and Graphedit, it definitely sounds like something is broken with your directshow video decoder setup.

In graphedit, if you manually insert an MPEG2 decoder, can you manually hook it up to the SBE source?

Ok- I panicked a bit. I reinstalled WinDVD, MP10 and PowerDVD and now I am getting video again. Phew.

Strange thing is it was only after PowerDVD that it recovered. The stange thing is in GBPVR config I have selected Intervideo video deccoder, but graphEdit and the latest GBPVR log both confirm I am using Elecard!! (This filter thing really is a black art)

This all started because of some troubles with the DVR-MS Mux where sometimes it would stop writing the buffered data to the the video file and stop the recording short. I thought I would revisit Cyberlink with an updated Mux. I found v5.0.0.3608 in PowerProduced 3.7 which (turned out to be crap) - then it all spiraled down from there...

Many thanks for your help! (yet again)
