video lockups

I am running GB-PVR V0.99.5 on Window XP professional and during playback I get lockups of the viewer. When this happens the video will pulse but the sound will continue for about 5 sec. longer then the window will become inactive and the only option I have is to kill the process from the task manager. Any ideas what is happening or do you need more info. Other then that GB-PVR work grate!

does this happen on every recording?

On a recording where it does happen, does it happen at exactly the same place every time?

what tv tuner do you have?

what mpeg decoder have you got set for playback in the config. if it is set to system default, try selecting an alternative decoder such as cyberlink (which you will have needed to install seperately).

set logging to debug and reproduce the problem then upload the logs (instructions on sticky thread at top of support forum).
