how to modify skin for Guide while watching live tv?

I'm not sure what dir has the skin.xml I want to modify. When I choose a show in the guide to see specific info, the text is drawn over part of the buttons. I want to move the text to the right, or make the button width smaller.

You need to modify the "tv guide\live-skin.xml" to change that.

Cool, I was looking in that dir. Are skin.xml and BaseSkin skin.xml used? I'm using the Basic skin.

When you view the tv guide over video it uses live-skin.xml, otherwise its skin.xml.

to expand, and just give some knowledge about skinning.

anything defined in baseskin.xml is inherited by every other skin file, and will be used unless you redefine them...

an example, you have buttons defined in baseskin.xml, and if you want to use a different button in the live tv guide, you can redefine the buttons there, and those new buttons will be used for that skin
