It'll most likely be caused by whatever video decoder your system is using when plugin this file.

The file plays fine with Windows Media Player, Media Player Classic, and K Media Player. It's only a problem when played via GB-PVR.

Remember GB-PVR doesnt play the file itself, it just asks Directshow to play it, which in turn uses the various decoders on your machine to play the file. It'll be one of these decoders it's picking that is causing your problem.

It could also be your audio decoder or audio renderer, since these are responsible for timing.

If you play one of these files, then zip and attach the gbpvr.exe-native.log, then I'll take a look at the list of decoders to see if I can identify the problem one for you.

Quote:2007-03-15 22:14:03.031 VERBOSE Graph contains the following filters:

2007-03-15 22:14:03.031 VERBOSE - Video Renderer

2007-03-15 22:14:03.031 VERBOSE - ffdshow MPEG-4 Video Decoder
2007-03-15 22:14:03.031 VERBOSE - AVI Splitter
2007-03-15 22:14:03.031 VERBOSE - E:\video\You Got Served1.avi
I'd probably try a real xvid decoder rather than ffdshow. Its been quirky for some people in the past. If that doesnt work, I'd try an audio decoder other than AC3Filter. It'll be one of those two causing it.

I install Mega Codec Pack, and have version 1.67 installed. How do I change the xvid decoder so ffdshow isn't used? Do something in GraphEdit?

If you install a xvid decoder like http://www.xvidmovies.com/codec/. The go into the ffdshow settings and disable it for xvid, then it should use the other decoder.

Fixed the problems by disabling AC3Filter. Uninstalled FFDSHOW anyway, using xvid decoder. Thanks for the advice.
