KWORLD 355 & demux prob in Vista Business

Hi

I had the "cannot render...demux filter" error, tried new Vista driver from KW.

Found gbpvr, got as far as 'digital channel mapping', found all the channels then it stopped responding!!!

I've been at this all day!!

Any ideas?

Vista Business Edition, Core 2 7200, 2g ram, go 7600 video.

What does the exact error message say?

Zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

I've just tried again and got as far as 'updating EPG" Scanning T:C55,746000,0,0,8 (1 SECONDS)

It that point it gets stuck!

OK I can zip most of the logs but for the most important 'config.exe' (as far as I can see) it says 'file in use' but I cannot see what is using it.

Have you an email address I can copy them to?

I sent the log files as requested.

I now have, after many attempts, a channels list in config which is fully populated (required reboot). How do I watch a TV channel? When I try to, the GB-PVR TV guide is now inopperative.

I followed your instructions above. Sent them each separately as .log files.

All channels have now miraculously appeared in the 'Live TV' section and they all now work fine. GBPVR installation seems a bit shakey under Vista Business - getting stuck several times, requiring reboot and then suddenly 'waking up'.

In 'live TV' is there a virtual remote or menu plugin to ease channel navigation please?

I'm setting this up on my student daughter's laptop but am a little worried that she will need to re-configure when she gets it, as she's in Southgate, North London (I've used Mendip TX) and will get into a pickle because of repeating the issues I've had. Any ideas?

I didnt give you instructions to send them anywhere. I asked you to zip and attach them, but you didnt, so I dont have any logs to look at.
