I've been getting some jerky video/strange timeline stuff on my standard PVR150 video recordings recently, and although I'm used to this with my dvb recordings, this was relatively new in the analogue ones. While looking for the cause (excess cpu usage at the wrong times?) I came across a couple of error messages I am a bit confused by:
In the GBPVRRecordingService.exe-1.log, during the time an affected program is recording ("Grand Designs Abroad", from 4am-5am, plus 2-pre and 9-post padding minutes), there are repeated errors regarding a failed transcode, which I'm confused about as I don't usually bother transcoding stuff:
and the other one is that several of the GBPVR.exe-native logs end with
although I assume that is related to playing back the file rather than recording it.
Any idea about the transcoding thing? (full logs attached).
cheers,
tieke
