need help identifying a tuner

I sometimes get recordings where the audio sounds like it is through a tin can.
is there a way to identify which tuner it came from to see if it is always the same one??
if it is I assume I need to replace it.
if it's in the logs, what do I look for??

I often do not watch a show until it is a week old, would the logs still show it??

Its a little difficult for most people to tell from the logs, but next time you get one of these recordings post the recording service -native.exe.log and I'll tell you what device is being used.

It depends if you rebooted or restarted the recording service more than three times.

I only reboot about once a week.
next time I get one of those, I will post it.
