A utility in GBPVR that would check for existing files and generate a "ready" list

This sounds complicated I know and It may be already available. When an upgrade is done to GBPVR, I often find that after installing the upgrade that the files that were recorded and saved as "ready" are gone along with my "reoccuring" list. The files are there, but not recognized by GBPVR. A utility inside GBPVR that would go through and search out your file locations to identify and add the files back into the ready folder along with the comskip info and that would repopulate the reoccuring list would be a very nice addition. If not an automatic step built into the upgrade engine maybe a plugin that could be run that would do this function. If this function is available at the present time I would love any info you could provide. If not it would be a nice addition in the next upgrade if possible.

GB-PVR makes every effort to maintain the recording list during upgrades, and usually upgrades without any problems, but if you do have this problem you can always using the 'import recordings' button in the config app and select recordings-dump.xml from the GB-PVR directory. This is a backup dump of the recording list which is created each time the EPG is updated, so usually pretty up to date.

There are also some utilities on the wiki that exactly what you're asking for.

I'm surprised you've often had this problem during upgrades. I've seen very few posts from anyone havingt this problem.
