Help getting started with usb tuner

Hi all,

I just bought this usb tv tuner off ebay:

the DVR s/w that came with it was ok but I'm having lots of trouble with the mpeg2 that it records, so I want to switch to gb-pvr on the basis of better EPG support and that it can automatically convert recordings to divx.

can gb-pvr work with a usb tuner, or am I pushing stuff uphill? I've installed all the OEM drivers and the device works fine with the packaged viewing s/w, eg - I can watch digital channels fine with it.

If its got BDA drivers, then it should work. If it doesnt identify as one of the current defined devices, then you might have to design a new one with the appropriate names for this device's BDA drivers (see http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Hardw...aptureCard)
