Most of the time everything works fine but occasionally when GB-PVR starts it does not have focus so the remote is not useable. Any ideas on what to do to fix this?

I set every one of my buttons to do a Find Window for GB-PVR, so all button presses always get posted to GB-PVR. My config file is attached to the Event Ghost wiki.

Ok, thank you. I'll take a look at your config and see what I can come up with. I know I had to set things up similar to you with Dream to be able to exit and what not. Should be fairly easy to get GB-PVR behaving the same.

The only thing I don't like about HIP is that I haven't figured out how to send input directly to the program from IR32. I have to use HipSend, which causes a DOS window to open for a second whenever an IR signal needs to be sent. Although I haven't tested it yet, i think this will become a problem when an IR signal needs to be sent and someone is playing an Emulator on fullscreen. It would be great if I could easily get IR32 to send commands directly to a program to have the IR signals transmitted.

use the hipsendw.exe as it is a windows app and starts no cmd window when run..Big Grin [find it on hip site]
btw, ir32 doesn't send those cmds, gbpvr runs the channel change exe itself..

to get gbpvr focus back, just start it again...run whatever key you use to start gbpvr and it will not start another instance, but bring the existing one into focus..

Actually I tried hipsendw.exe, but for some reason on my machine it sends the same command code to HIP every time. Its been a week or so since I last messed with HIP, but it would send the same numerical code; 301**.**: where * are some number, i think. It didn't matter what arguments I passed to it, it sent the same code every time. I also got the same result when I ran the program with no arguments (so the form was shown) and used the UI and the same code was still sent.
