Anyone have HVR-3000 DVB-S recd' problem?

Hi, I've a Hauppauge HVR-3000 card and I've installed GB-PVR 1.1.5 everything accordingly and know the installation process is correct. Recording on DVB-T is fine, but on DVB-S some channels cannot be recorded even when view on LIVE-TV viewed ok? For example I've scanned DVB-S channels on Eurobird 1, certain channels ie, Movies4Men or SimplyTV cannot be recorded, but able to view it ok??!! Channels like TV_SHOP can be recorded. On my PC I've also installed WinTV 4 from Hauppauge and everything can be recorded? Is there something missing for DVB-S within GB-PVR pls? or is there something I missed? Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not aware of any problems that would cause this, but zip and attach the logs showing one of these recordings and I'll take a look.

Its not clear why, but on those DVB-S recordings the device has failed to lock onto a signal.

I'm not sure why you're getting this. I dont get this with my HVR-4000.

(I hope it is not duff card that i got) but then these channels can be recorded on wintv? It's strange it beats me too, I prefer GB-PVR as main recording source because it is very stable and doesn't use too much memory on pc.

Is HVR-4000 identical card to HVR-3000 PLUS HD?
