Greetings Folks

Some of you already have seen my comments about my channel 2 problems.
I wanted to finally get this resolved and so it's own thread.

The background is that channel 2 for me works in every aspect (recorded and played elsewhere along with from gbpvr) except for live tv.

I've heard ideas of using graphedit and I have gotten it but am not sure how to use it to determine my problem.

So please help me finally resolve this problem.

::EDIT:: Forgot to add that the symptom is that the picture is jerky, studdering.

it is just channel 2... I am not using a cable box. Yes at first I thought it might of been one of my pvr150's but since I can see a perfect picture in any other scenerio except for live tv it is very puzzling.

I am using the nvideo

I have tried with both by going into config and moving one of the tuners up or down.

::EDIT:: I was wrong, found out that in the config if I move a capture device up/down that it really doesn't do that. So I went in and de-selected channel 2 on one of the boards and now I can see channel 2 in live tv. I find it very odd though that a board can show all channels except one. Now I am off to see if changing the drivers might help.

Does anyone know how to manually tune a channel ?

I am wondering if I could manually tune channel 2 on the one pvr150.

You did switch the coax between the two to make sure the problem stays with the flakey tuner, right?

Someone had posted the way to test one tuner is to deselect the channel from one tuner so GBPVR has no choice but to use the other.

oh i've done alot of things but finally pulled the unsuspected card from the machine and connected the coax from the wall (before the splitter) and booted. Channel 2 still sucked.
So it is that card. RMA'ing asap.
