Ati Aiw 9600

Hi, I'm a noob to GB-PVR. Just installed a All-in-wonder 9600 that I got from a friend. Got the ATI software installed and running but am frustrated at getting on-air recording to work properly. Thought that GB-PVR might be better. However, can't fathom how to get it configured. My 9600 card doesn't show up on the supported hardware lists. Does anyone know how to configure it ? Keep in mind that I know nothing about abou PVR software and capture cards. :confused:

Sorry, this device lacks the required hardware MPEG2 encoder so isnt compatible with GB-PVR.

That's a shame. I don't remember reading about hardware requirements for GB-PVR. Thanks anyway. Do you happen to know of any other PVR software that doesn't require hardware MPEG-2 ?

Not many. BeyondTV, GotAllMedia, maybe MediaPortal too. I'm not really sure.
