ok ive done most of the coding now, i couldnt get burn video to dvd (it took two hours to prepare a iso just for  4.7gb disk, on a celeron d 330 (2.6ghz), so until i find a faster way, bugger it).  you can press red/yellow for page up, blue cycle thru views, green will fetch the info from imdb (big thanks to Jeff for this, i was to lazy to do it myself . note thou it wont say its fetching it, it will just be unresponsive for a few seconds (on 256k it only took about 2-5 seconds on average), i might make it a seperate thread in the future and have a popup message saying fetching info).  you can press the green button on either a video file/iso or on a directory (a directory is designed for tv shows)

it also has an option to remove the folders name from the file. eg "Enterprise - 2x02 - Carbon Creek" will become "2x02 - Carbon Creek", which makes it easier to read. there are four different views: list,icons, big icons, and details (one above). you can rip dvds, play dvds, do a direct dvd to dvd copy (will tell you what size dvd is required before it burns (most need dual layer discs, so if you dont have a dual layer burn, check back of dvd first (it will say either DVD5 or DVD9 (dvd5 = single layer, dvd9 = dual layer). um on to rip a dvd you must have a directory structure like DVDs\[genre] so
D:\DVDs\Comedy; D:\DVDs\Romance, etc.

i couldnt be bothered doing a blue skin for it (just dump the "my videos" dir into the skin you are using, if someone can be bothered doing the skins can you email them to me, so i can include them in future releases (ive been programming all night, and i well yeah cant be bothered ).

it also remembers directory views (this a bug in current release of gbpvr (0.238) if you press menu button it wont save this info, will be fixed in next release (well i think it will be), big thanks to KingArgyle for helping with the xml coding.

oh yeah thats it, oh i suppose you want a link to so here it is, once i few bugs (im sure there are some) are ironed out ill send it to sub so he can host it, and then ill do the wiki thingy.

also anyone who doesnt use english can you test this out, im not sure about the xml, i had to remove characters like '&' '+' etc for directory view memory, and well i dont know which other characters i have to remove like the ae one etc.

oh also if you press green button on a file like "enterprise - blah blah" and its in a directory \enterprise\filename or enterprise\seasonorwhatever\filename, it will see that its enterprise, so it will download enterprise info, and set it to the enterprise folder not that video file, since you can never get info for an episode (well not from imdb).  just do it and you'll see what i mean.

Since the blue skin is the default, I want developers to always do a blue skin. Even if its very plain. Please add this. I dont mind if you skip the "flat blue" or "red" skins.

i will later on, just not at this stage, once i iron out all the bugs ill add it (well most of em). dont feel like doing anything else with it at the moment, maybe in a couple of days, just need a break

id have to get lots of images for folders, video files, parent etc, and theres four different views so thats 4 sets, and yeah, finding the right image always takes a long time.

ok sub made me fell guilty for being lazy , so i did the blue theme, i stole a lot of images from media portal themes, i couldnt find any good ones on google, if anyone finds some better images, can you email them to me or something, theses ones still look pretty good thou.

if updated the zip file above so it now contains the blue theme aswell (under "blue\my videos\" my theme is the one in "my videos", in zip files file structure).

it looks a lot better than i thought it would with the blue theme, it may need a few tweaks here and there. also if you have a touch screen can you try this out, im pretty sure ive made everything clickable, doubleclick = open file/dir, sinlge click= select.

ive just updated the plugin file, same link as before, i was just trying to skin it on main menu, and popup message saying task.png stuff, a few plugins have this problem, all using the same source, no idea why the original developer put this message in the task area, oh well, its gone now. i also put a little surprise in the zip file enjoy.

ive changed the page up/down buttons to green/blue
red grabs info from imdb.com
yellow cycle thru views
so its has the same layout as "My Pictures"
i fixed a small bug where if you try to grab info from imdb for a show twice it would crash (forgot to do streamwriter= null, so the file was already being accessed )
ive also put an extra option in the config app, so you can define which file extensions you want "My Videos" to recognise as video files just incase i missed one or using pvr350 and only want to display mpeg files.
when you run the config app you will have to manually edit the config.xml to remove the old values.  goto the gbpvr directory, open "config.xml" with notepad or another editor and scroll down there should be one "my videos" section (IF YOU HAVE ENTERED THE CONFIG APP, CHANGED MY VIDEOS SETTINGS IN THE LASTEST BUILD, OTHERWISE THIS WONT APPEAR) and another "my videos" section, section one should look like this:

you'll notice that theres an extra tag in the second section &quot;VideoFileExtensions&quot; this is the only change, the best option is to copy this line from section two and past it in the same place in section one. section 2 shouldnt have any nondefault values (ie the stuff you defined) since xml will read from the beginning of the file and write to the first found tag, since section one is above section two the updates will be done in sectino one.  so thats why you should copy the &quot;VideoFileExtensions&quot; to section one. THEN DELETE SECTION TWO.

if anything is unclear just ask for help. i know its a pain, but still working a few things out, hopefully you wont have to do this stuff again (well you will for the &quot;My Pictures&quot; plugin, same deal).

It would have been very nice if you had asked us permission to use them. Mediaportal and it graphics are under GPL license so
I expect that if you decide to use these graphics you

small note to you, do not use the dell graphics, their license.txt can be missunderstood and it does NOT mean you may use their graphics from their &quot;dell mediaexperience&quot;. We have been there.
