Hi.

Does the gbpvr always record in the best quality?

I know that there are several settings, but where do I put so it always records in the best quality as default?

Thanks.

I forgot.

It seems that the audio channels are reversed (left is right and viceversa).
Normally the sound is ok, but when using gbpvr it seems reversed.

Got Hauppage PVR500 (dual tuner) card.

Don't know if it's some driver issue for the card or the gbpvr program.

Any suggestion in how to find/fix the problem?

Thanks again

When you schedule a recording, you can specify what quality profile you want to use. If you instead do a 'quick rec', then it just uses the 'medium' profile, which is always the default. You can of course modify the 'medium' profile to use whatever settings you prefer.

Thats a new one on me. You'd have to ask Hauppauge about that one - sounds driver or hardware related to me.

Sub,

Rathe rthan change the medium settings to HQ settings, would it be possible to change the Quick-Record setting to HQ profile, rather than a medium profile.

To be honest, I'm probably not going change it now. Its been this way since the beginning of the project.

I suppose that as the world slowly goes digital the need will go altogether.

Yep, thats my thoughts aswell.

The app already doesnt show the quality setting if you have only digital capture sources.
